Sir Landon Of Donovan

Not at all. In footballing terms a 30yr old who looks after himself is not too old, infact they are a perfect age with experience and full potential realised (RVP).

From an EFC point of view with no money I get ur point that we can't go out constantly investing in 30yr olds as we need young players with sell on value ect... But a mixture is fine if they are quality players with plenty still to offer which Landon is one of those.

I'm no longer concerned about his age because I fully expect this team to be taken apart during the summer after Moyes leaves and Fellaini, Jelavic etc are sold.

What matters is doing something tangable this year while they're still here.

I hope to goodness you are wrong, but I think a bit part of that is denial on my part. It's quite a worrying time at the moment. With a couple of quality signings, and I think Landon would be key to that, we could achieve something this season. But I agree, would could totally collapse at the end of it in the off season.
