Absolutely shocking effort by Straq though wasn't it!

Not really, no. It wasn't a great strike, by any means, but he sort of sent Cech the wrong way, and even though his strike went a bit too close to Cech, he'd still done eough to put it in the net. If he hadn't sent Cech the wrong way, it would have been saved (the actual strike.)

Also, Denis gets tagged with the workhorse label. His off the ball movement was also top-notch. Watch it again....
 

wonderful move, shame the strike was so bad cech got mistyfied by it, kind of makes it better actually. who cares ,if it went it.

Watch it from the other angles it wasn't a bad strike by any stretch of the imagination..... He put it right, it went right, and ended up in the net. Poor strike that...

Whilst he was ace, just watching the goal shows how poor he was. It's kinda funny he ever ended up in the Premier League! He can barely run there and the strike and movement are poor. Don't care though, loved seeing it!
