Aren't you the sheep shagger?Rumour is Danny popped to his local Morrisons car park for ten minutes to go give @John Carter a stern talking to … could be just a rumour …. But who knows
It seems like this site freezes around 2.05am for 10 to 15 minutes each night as does toffeeweb.even on different devices.i always wondered is there a reason for that?
Maybe scheduled server backups or something?
Yes, it's that.
I'm hoping this doesn't happen anymore or if it does, its for significantly less.
Let us know if ever online around 2am UK time?
Can confirm, issues can crop up anywhere between 2 AM and 6 AM BST. More often than not, it's earlier rather than later. How much of the problem is at your end, and how much is maintenance on the Internet pathway between here and there, is another question entirely.9 pm for me. It frustrates me nearly daily lol

I always figured the small downtime was a necessary evil of a daily backup process at an offpeak hour but we've had a talented freelance server tech spend 4 hours optimising the site and he educated me it shouldn't happen.
He's massively reduced the size of the site so the backup is now tiny by comparison so if it happens, it'll be much shorter but he also said the site shouldnt be inaccessible at all and he did some database work which he thinks may resolve it so we'll see.
Only way we'll know is when it happens and I'll be asleep so hopefully you guys can tell me.
