Last night, and this evening we've had some malicious activity towards the sites server.

We'll sort it, but bare with us (oooooh x) - bear with us while we sort.

our forums also had a DDOS attack on Tuesday (I think it was Tuesday anyway) from a group of IP addresses that all started with the range of 27.

they were hitting us at around 2000 users per minute and we lost connectivity for about 10 minutes at one point

weirdly enough, they didn't attack our main domain, just the forums sub-domain
