If had to choose one international match to watch, it would be a France v Wales one every day of the week.

I'm not an aficionado by any stretch, but I get the impression they try to run the ball a lot more than the other nations.

Not so sure they do, but I was bought watching Welsh rugby cos we could only get Welsh regional TV down here years ago, and both have the capacity to be utterly brilliant, and utterly nuts. Like that French #10 this second half. Cost his team 3 to 10 points in 10 minutes.

If France had a half decent stand off this evening, you would have been toast.

They’ve not really snotted anyone this series, ridden their luck a helluva lot. That said, 4/1 on the World Cup isn’t a bad bet..
