I just found it strange that you called somebody a failure for not reaching top 4 or winning a cup, I mean you said Moyes was, but the last fella, you declared him a major success.

Anyway, if we get ALL the players the manager wants, top 4 should be a cake walk.

It should.

*waits*

I'm very positive at the moment would be even better if we sign Giroud and Sigurdsson (not at £50 mill though) or another playmaker.

We would have got 4th last season if we moved for the players I suggested..........

I will tell you at the end of the window if top 4 is on David, I will know then.

Cups are a lottery, I cant predict them.

They are if you take the piss in them.

Top 4 and either an FA cup final or at the least the "carling" cup (whatever the name is, EFL? League Cup? Carabao Cup?)

Clearly when we now have about 26 First Team ready players and hardly a dud among them (btw for those who want to disagree I'm not counting Geads or Oumar in that list) then things are heading in the right direction

We have 3 keepers - Pickford, Robles (Stek)
Defenders:(8) - Baines, Williams, Jags, Keane, Coleman, RFM, Holgate, Kenny
Mid: (9) Schneids, Barkley, Lennon, McCarthy, Gueye, Barry, Besic, Davies, Klaasen
Forwards: (6) Kev, Bolasie, DCL, Lookman, Ramirez, Rooney

That's without the likes of Dowell, McGeady (going), Browning and Galloway (on loan) and the surplus Oumar..

From those 26 we can only play 18 but, to be fair, Stek (3rd choice), RFM, one of Holgate/Kenny, Coleman (injured), Lennon (not match fit), McCarthy, Besic (prob not fit) and Yannick Bolasie (injured) are most likely not in contention which, whilst Barkley is still a Blue puts this 18 on the teamsheet.. my subs in brackets

Pickford (Robles)
Holgate or Kenny, Baines, Williams, Keane, (Jags)
Schneids, Barkley, Gueye (Barry), (Davies), Klaasen
Rooney, (Mirallas), Ramirez, (DCL), (Lookman)

I'd therefore be starting: Pickford, Kenny, Keane, Williams, Baines, Schneids, Gueye, Klaasen, Barkley (or Davies), Rooney, Ramirez

An overexcited Jim White to get his todger trapped in the window when it slams shut, signalling the start of the greatest, most glorious 9 months in our proud history, sweeping all before us.

This time next year, we'll be in a phenomenal moment, basking in the silver glow of our gleaming trophy cabinet, while Jim White returns to Sky Sports News HQ with his new prosthetic todger installed and fully operational, eagerly spreading more Everton gossip courtesy of his mate Mosh.

With the depth now, I see way better performances in the cups. Probably be 4-6 in the Prem and advance far in one of the competitions.

Happy with the signings bar Rooney but concerned that we have have not secured a Rom replacement before letting him go.
