Never understood why Leon Osman never bulked up in the gym because he's probably the best close control dribbler in our squad, it's always been his strength which is the issue.

His strength and the fact that he's not exactly very pacey are his main problems imo. Close control dribbling though, he's great at that.

Oh and he goes hiding from the ball in games sometimes.

He is very inconsistent and usually in the same game! I like ossie and when the team is playing well with a lot of the ball he excels. I do however find myself shouting his name at the tv in anger the most when watching us!

I think he's an ideal squad/bench player.

i agree, he can have a storming first half and go missing 2nd half.
i do think he is useful for the squad.

He pulls on a blue shirt and gives everything he has got! He is very talented. He does not have the consistency of an Iniesta or Xabi but then we don't Have 50 Million Euro's.
Get behind players like Osman - not everyone is a Fellaini!
I expect Osman and Gibbo to be a great partnership once Gibbo is back - the thought is exciting rather than the drudgery of previous seasons. We are banging in 3 in every league game - get positive!

He's more a top of the diamond, number 10, trequartista, perhaps out wide in a pinch type of player.

I think he's a center mid and have done since that United-Lisbon-Chelsea week in 09/10 when we took three big scalps in 7 days and he was key to them all.
