Mrs ijjy been banging onto me about mowing the lawn for ages do thought I'd do it tonight as its still lovely down here.


Was going great until I saw a worm...hold on THAT'S NOT A WORM.

It's a orange/bronze thing that looks like a freakin' snake!!! It's only small so I try and kill it. But it's damn quick an gets away.

Just done some research and think it was a slow worm, not a snake.

I've never heard of these thing.

Can you guys shed any light? Does it sound like a slow worm?

probably mate - we do get a few grass snakes around but they are harmless.

I trod on a snake once in Brazil and had to keep my foot on it until someone came with a knife to kill the fecker
