Sadly no. Tarantulas were common, bats used to sleep in my living room if I left the windows open. Proper snakes, massive cockroaches etc

TBF, that sounds awesome.

Biggest thing I've have had in my house is a swallow. Hoping to head over to brazil for the world cup, assuming it happens, now I'm kind of hoping there's like tapirs and macaws everywhere.

You can find parrots and monkeys around Rio. If you want to do a proper wildlife trip go to the Pantanal rather than the Amazon
