1986 Mexico, Lineker netting all over the show. England were [Poor language removed].

1990 Italia, Toto slotting all over the shop. England were ace.

1994 US, done well on the betting. England didn't qualify.

1998 France, afternoon drinking in various pubs watching, the tournament was a bit tosh. England were [Poor language removed].

2002 Japan, was in Cyprus, before the England v Argentina game I saw some lads run down the street with a massive Argentina flag followed about four seconds later by a loads of English fans after them. England were [Poor language removed].

2006 Germany, was in Spain and had a dysfunctional back window squirter on my car that sprayed to the right hand side of the car. I drove home when Spain got knocked out slowing down and squirting all the Spanish fans on the pavements, they went mad. England were [Poor language removed].
And some people wonder why you're my hero

1998- A rather good Spain team getting knocked out in the first round, David and Diego, Michael Owen, The wife's smug attitude after the game, Ronaldo's illness

2002- Awful timetable. The wife's dirty looks when we beat The Argies, Ronaldinho, Guus Hiddink.

2006- Spain looking awsome in the first game but going home early as usual. England looking awful every game and going home early as usual

I've just remembered from the 1978 WC them Argentinian kids on the pitch at half time making Bobby Charlton look like a donkey with their ball juggling skills
