So what Huang takeover means?

Last I heard on LFC was that one of the bidders had contacted the League to undergo a fit and proper persons test (or whatever they're now calling it) and that a formal bid will be tabled within 10 days.

It's hard not to believe that Hicks and Gillett aren't dodging and weaving here. I doubt very much Liverpool will be taken over this year.

You know. The price is the price. If Huang meets the price, then they might sell, if he doesn't, then they don't sell. Reminds me of that scene in Clear & Present Danger:

Jack Ryan: "I'd like to rent your helicopter."

Salesman: "We don't rent it. It is for sale though."

Jack Ryan: "How much?"

Salesman: "One Million Dollars."

Jack Ryan: "Well my pilot would have to take it for a test flight and check it out."

Salesman: "Sure, you just need to leave a deposit."

Jack Ryan: "How much?"

Salesman: "One Million Dollars."

Jack Ryan: "Will you take a company check?"

On this one I agree with the Prince of Darkness.

Doing business with China is fraught with difficulty. Establishing legitimacy is one of the big issues - you have to physically go over their to do it and even then, you need local help.

This one could run and run. I'm rubbing my hands (in Davek/Prince of Darkness style) with glee at all the prospect this one could run and run... and all the instability it could cause them.

and that they could very well end up with a group even "better" than the yanks in terms of accountability!

If it does happen and the RS get taken over by the Chinese Govt - then we should make the Dalai Lama our special guest for the Derby at Goodison
