I watched all of ten minutes but thought Karen Carney looked to be one of the better players on the pitch during what I saw. But ultimately it's to raise money and including the female footballers brings a bit more exposure I'd imagine.

Cant stand that Ian Stirling.

Me & the Missus were in the audience for his series on Taskmaster. So much of what he said was cut out because he just kept whining about every little detail. Put us both right off him. It was so bad they had to reference it in the footage that went out on tv on how bad a sport he was.

They shoot that in a day? 6 or 7 hours with costume changes? And how did you get tickets? And who is genuinely funny?

Filmed at Pinewood Studios. Tickets are free. The missus did the registering stuff so not fully sure of that process. Some do miss out though as they deliberately over 'sell'. Arrive early was what we were told basically. We were meant to watch the first 2 episodes which takes about 3-4 hours to record but due to huge traffic issues the next batch of audience members was a fraction of what it should have been so a lot of us stayed to watch episode 3-4 aswell.
It is tiring though. Leg room is non existent in the majority of seats too. On arrival you get held in a holding pen (large white gazebo) for well over an hour before being walked around to the studio. No real escape to pop to the loo either.

Right, two shows at a time then a change of audience. I found Stirling rather grating, Joe Thomas had his moments but seemed distant - like he wasn't concentrating or was asleep - vacant. Sanders and Sinha tended to play a bit more to the audience, and Gibson is an actress not really a comedian. Who's funny in the studio that we don't see that of on the show? Favourite series and favourite contestant?
