Prior to Frank being appointed it was a common stat to quote that everton had the highest points total in the PL for points amassed after falling a goal behind. Not sure if this was true but it struck a chord at the time.

How come now, once we concede, we collapse faster than a collapseable thing? It makes mo sense. WTF is going on?

How is this explained?

Because we have a squad of pampered overpaid hamsters

They’re a shower of spineless… ?
Agree. But that is not the answer to the question so to speak. How come we could win or draw after falling a goal behind earlier in the season but not any longer? What has changed? Is it tactics, motivation or is it just that the other teams have sussed us out?

That Watford game particularly knocked the stuffing out of them. The Villa game too. Prior to that we did indeed recover from going behind. It's like a mental block based on a couple of crap results set the rot in.

Tbf mate when you go behind all the time you'll probably always inevitably be the top of the league for that stat unless you lose every week.

They are cowards and they have a poor mentality. Some players have given up and I detest them for it.
Frank and his backroom team know this too well but he just needs to get to safety with what he’s got. His last interview gave a hint that he’s aware!

Yeah for sure I get that. BUT at least we could come back from 1 0 down then. Not anymore it would seem. It's a mystery.

How could that possibly be true? We won 1 game in 14 before Benitez was shown the door.
