Unless you are in the path of totality, it just gets a bit shady for about 20 minutes. Pretty underwhelming. Make no mistake, I got nothing against the moon, sun, stars, etc., they just need to keep their distance.

I doubt she can take I-10 all the way to UK. I've not driven all of it but I've definitely traveled it from New Orleans to Jacksonville and I didn't see any UK exits, although Florida has royally screwed up by using sequential exit numbers and not mile oriented exit numbers.
Saw some really nice pictures from people in Arkansas. Got a decent shot of the partial eclipse where I am today but it's nothing compared to some pictures I've seen.
