Inside information:

Benitez

1. House is on the market

Also

2. Told the kids' school that they "wont be there NEXT term" :o

Bigger house/better school, he's going nowhere except the posh part of Kirkby.

* Clutches straw for dear life.

Keep Rafael In Our City !

He is a comedy manager, but Moyes will be glad to see the back of him. Aside from being very irritating, his derby record against Moyes is pretty damn good.

His record at Liverpool is atrocious. People will point to the CL win in 2005. The devil, as always, is in the detail. We all know how much they fluked their way through that tournament. Probably the least talented and entertaining team to win the CL for a generation. And Benitez 'did it' with another manager's team, not the one he assembled. An FA Cup win in this day and age for a team spending hundreds of millions of pounds to win the Pemier League or CL is nothing to write home about either.

He's spent a fortune in 6 years to serve up the worst brand of anti-football and has infuriated every other club in the Premier League with his obnoxious manner.

What a legacy.

I just can't fathom that Juventus would even consider Benitez.

He's taken a Champions' League winning side, and in the space of 5 years turned it into a team who look like they could finish outside of the top 6 altogether, all this while spending an average of £20m on players every season. Juve are looking to go in precisely the opposite direction, it makes no sense for them at all.

It's what annoys me about Juventus, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and other 'big' clubs (although not United), they'd prefer to hire a 'name' to flash about in the media than an unknown who could actually do the job well.

IMO Mourinho will go back to Chelsea this summer, Ancelotti to Juventus, Steve Staunton back into management to take over the Inter Milan job :P
