No excuses for 9-0 but apparently VAR was at its finest again, i genuinely think it’s corrupt, it’s so repetitive and always given to united10 men after 2 mins 9 men after 86 mins
Idk why but I find hassenhuttl annoying, just an odd brand kloppThey have had a load of injuries lately - though same as us.
I really don't get the hype around Hasenhuttl.
Yeah, that early sending off ruined any chance they had. That doesn't mean you go and lose 9-0, though.
It's school of Red Bull mentality though, like you say when it works it works, but when it does'nt it seems to go spectacularly wrong at times. I think it's a player thing tbh Southampton just have a really average squad and very little in the way of options, they also had something like 9 first team players out injured last night. It's their style of play I think. When it works it can be really effective but when it goes wrong it goes very wrong. I didn't see the game but from what I heard they basically tried to play the same high energy pressing game as usual despite playing virtually the entire game a man down. There was already enough space for it not to work because of that and then by early in the second half they were just dead on their feet. I like what Hassenhuttl wants to do, but he seems to be very much a one trick pony.
9/9.....surelyGreat thread
would read again
10/10
Merseyside born and bred mate, it seems you're just not as sharp since @marnie owned you.The look in the mirror and remember you’re Scottish forever?
