Liverpool have done us a massive favour here.

Realistically if Koeman was going back there for a player he would have marked Mane as first choice all day long. So now he has gone along with wanyama, only really leaves Van Dijk and i can imagine he would be too costly for Koeman to sign, meaning no saints players arrive.

Key players though mate. Whether an outside perspective disagrees with that or not. Lambert and Lallana represent first team players, clyne and lovren represent future players and mane is their best player.

Granted they love the act they are getting so much from liverpool but it means nothing if they are then selling the players a year later. Within 12 months dijk / forster / tadic won't be there either.
