I've just seen the match stats and was quite surprised. We had more possession (61% to 39%), more passes (474 to 302), better pass accuracy (73% to 68%). Really the only difference was the own goal even though it looked like Southampton were the better side. Wierd really

We did have a lot more possession than them, but most of our passes were sideways. Southampton were constantly looking to get the ball forward and just wanted it much more than we did. The team is crying out for a leader, but, who that is going to be I haven't a clue. Pickford has a few detractors on here, but, at least he isn't afraid to shout at somebody who makes a mistake. I'm surprised that he hasn't lost his voice by now.

Where is McCarthy, I believe he is better than anybody on the field at the minute. at least he tries.

It's certainly time to try a few different things as it's clearly not working at the moment. I'd give DCL a run of games and move Richarlison back to the left.

I couldn’t avoid it because it was on the screens in the gym this morning.
Pickford asleep for the og. Only began to move his feet when it was too late.
What I was seeing was half decent build up into the area but no natural goal scorer.
They weren't as bad as I was expecting having seen reports on here and TW but next home game going to be interesting.
