Southampton see this as a winnable game so will attack us. . That might suit us. First goal of course is crucial.

I’d rather we weren’t playing Southampton so soon after that recent 9-0 drubbing.

They looked a totally different side in the following game against City and were unlucky not to get something for their industry.

Sad to say, but I’d put my money on Ward-Prowse pouncing on any rebounds in the goal-mouth before any of our defenders. A cool reception for Schneiderlin in light of his bad form could result in us going down to ten men.

Of course, if the team uplifts it’s game to show solidarity with Silva and makes it one for Gomes, than we might just come away with something. Fingers crossed.
