What I was expecting. Decent looking bench, we've got competition for places developing in several positions. I'm sure we'll see a few changes in the next couple of weeks.

I both like and don't like Lampard keeping faith with players that play well in the previous game.

On one hand, football should be a meritocracy. If you play well you deserve to play the next game.

However, each team is different and provides different challenges that may suit a change of tactic or personnel.

Essentially I think it comes down to whether he feels we should be the team stamping their mark on the game or reacting to the opposition.
