So our issue now is with no Richarlison we have no pace to counter attack.

Iwobi won’t run in behind and James doesn’t for a reason.

Iwobi has to be less selfish and make those runs on Sunday

Reckon Nkounkou might just do a job in that position if we are lacking a bit of pace.

It was a proper piss poor challenge. I'd have understood more if the scruffs next door had been cry arsing more about Richarlisons challenge than Pickfords.

Really reckless and just absolutely pointless when you look at where he done it and at what point the game was at.

It was pure idiocy and I hope he learns big time from it! Not trying to defend him at all, but it has almost been coming virtually from the first two minutes of the season! It started at Tottenham and then carried on for the next three games - he has been kicked from pillar to post in each of the first four games and it carried on against them on Saturday, and then he got (slightly) pulled back when he hit the post with that header!

Idiocy yes definitely, but he has not had one ounce of protection from referees so far and the sending off was coming I’m afraid! I suspect Carlo has had/ will be having a quiet word!

Yep Roydo,but don't laugh!!I honestly believe the travel and mental fatigue with our South Americans(terrible travelling first class I know!!) played a factor last week,Rodriguez wasn't fully "at the races",Mina and that clearance for their second goal just looked like a weary attempt to me, and Richarlison losing the plot at the death!!

If injury situation is as bad as I suspect this is the line up I would expect

Should still have enough to win but this is where we could have done with that Right Forward I keep mentioning.

Sigurdsson will look like the player he was when he first joined us with the protection he will get in midfield. Last season he really suffered from gana not being there but this season could be a totally different proposition.

On that basis I'm more concerned with richy being unavailable, I think we may miss that cutting edge but whomever replaces will need to step up to the plate

We're away on the South Coast and Soton have been doing well this season. They press so hard the key would be those diagonal James balls behind the defence. Gomes is going to have to step up in this game. This will be no walk in the park. With a full first XI I would have banked on a 1-3 win but with 3 crucial players out I could see us doing well to get a point. Whoever comes in for James and Richy will have to be serving the ball up for DCL's new found confidence. Feed the DCL and he will score!

I think this is more of a test than the last one. One I think we'll win. But we may have to be careful when it comes VAR and all that. Win this and I will start to believe..

I think we are going to do these even without our 2 star men tbh. The lads are all confident and we have a strong midfield with Allan and Doucoure and a striker that cannot stop scoring. Even the defence is starting to look a bit stronger with Ben in amongst them even if they do have extra work because of a goalie that is all over the show at times.

Win this and people are really going to start taking notice. It wouldn't actually be a disaster if we didn't win tbf but it would be great to keep the momentum going and the confidence as high as poss.
