Yes, there isn't much to choose between the teams from 9th place down. It's very close - and three points make a big difference.

Meanwhile, at the other end, a win for Burnley tomorrow will take Sean Dyche's team into a Champions League spot.

I think the biggest difference between all the lower sides is that we have the WORST options in defence. Easily.

Another game which will likely make lie of football's epithet, 'the beautiful game'. Aesthetics however are a luxury we cannot afford at the present and I will be happy with any win, however ugly.
However, whilst I retain high confidence that ugly is what we'll get, I suspect the win will elude us.

1-0 to them then.

..surely they will score 2. Every team scores at least 2 against this team and there’s absolutely no reason I can see why that trend won’t continue. Given that, it’s about whether we can score two goals. We have in our last two league games but we don’t have Niasse.

Logic suggests we’ll get beat.

Southampton -1 handicap is a solid bet mate, got slightly better than 2/1 on it.

Lookman wasn't involved on Thursday is that a hint he will start? Can't see who else starts on the left unless it's Sandro just can't see him tracking back to protect Baines?
