Mate you're the one carrying on like we're Bolton, seventh place may be good enough for you but it's not for me! Yeah the same Ancelotti who finished 12th and 10th, and then walked right out the effing door!

A final that we lost, and two semi finals that we bottled to inferior rs and Man United teams. Oh boy wowwee! Blue Bill has you brainwashed lad.:)

That's probably the most ridiculous wind up of a post I've ever read on here.

The last 20 years, actually 30 years, has been an absolute disgrace to the badge.

We've spunked hundreds of millions on absolute garbage.

Moyes and his small club mentality was embarrassing.

Mid table finishes under woeful managers.

Ancelloti here for a pay day and wasted millions.

A new stadium is great. I await confirmation on how its really being paid for.

A glory hunter is the last thing you can accuse an Everton fan of being sadly.

When you say good times, are you on about the actual good times when we actually competed for and won trophies, or are you on about the good times of the Blue Bill/Moyes variety?

You said our fans have been through the walls which isn't true apart from the 90's and the odd bad season in 00's and last season in terms of relegation battles.

If you think finishing 7th is "bad times" it makes you sound like an entitled RS or Utd fan when clubs like Bolton, Bury, Sunderland, Coventry etc have had real "hard times".

We've been pretty much an upper mid table club since the 00's. Not great but hardly "dark times".

It's not bad or great. It's just mediocre/middle of the road, and we've been a mediocre/middle of the road football club for way too long sadly.

Finished 5th
Multiple 6th/7th/8th finishes
European Football
1 Cup Final
Multiple Cup Semi Finals
World class Ancelotti as manager
Hundreds of millions spent on players
World class stadium being built in a grand location on the docks.

We haven't really had a lot to put up with post 90's apart from the RS having patches of dominance under Benitez & Klopp.

Yes its crap we haven't won anything since 1995 but that doesn't mean we've had it particularly bad compared to most other clubs in England.
