Ugly win, but a decent away performance. Especially at a ground we seemed to have been miserable at for a while now.

….stressful watching us but only because we were better than them and could’ve been out of sight.

Coady, Tarkowski and Gueye terrific with Coleman only a smidgeon behind. Coady MoM, looking an inspired signing.

Gave MOTM to Coady for generally sound defence and scoring. Was tempted at various points to go for Gueye or Maupay, but Gueye's performance seemed to go steadily downhill after a great first half and Maupay's welcome niggling wasn't enough to make up for some misses.

Marriner was awful, awarding corners and throw-ins the wrong way and missing plenty of fouls and shirt-tugging.

And do we really have to wait another 10 months for Garry Birtles to retire and shut up about football?

To be fair Pickford takes the piss with his time wasting. No complaints from me but I’d hate it if it was the opposing keeper doing it to us. Not sure how he escaped another booking for it.

Amazing what 2 wins can do, up to 11th and 10 points from 8 games, on target for 40 points at least. Showed character to come from behind and win away. Looking forward to MOTD tonight
