Swimmingly. Waiting for the guy to call me at 2-3pm today to confirm a start date basically.

Except it's nearly 2am and he's not. So probably/hopefully tomorrow.

Guy didn't even like me, he loved me/my confident manner of behaving (apparently) and talking lol (which I'm sure some of the people on here can debunk quite easily, now that we've met). He even said that if it was that simple - he'd hire me on the spot, but there's still a chance he prefers someone else as there were a few more people to interview. Just praying/hoping here that he just wanted to give them a fair crack of the whip as he said before sending them away.

Knowing my luck it's the opposite and he liked both and didn't like me, but them's the breaks.

I am/was well chuffed about it as well, apparently it showed.

sounds good mate.

back when i was in the job market i was always very openly stoic about it, even at the interview...so it dampened any excitement either way but seemed to work as i got more offers than not, but when i didn't it was also ok.

The thing is I'm leaving town tomorrow night if he hasn't called, and was supposed to start on Wednesday, so we'll see what happens tomorrow I guess.
