Is it though? It would be orbiting in the same direction and at roughly the same speed. More of a fender-bender than anything.
Looking down from the north pole, do we orbit clockwise or anticlockwise?

An enterprising youtube channel have captured the whole flight to booster separation and return to landing....uninterrupted:
Is it though?

Watching a video in regards to the moon landings, or generally about why we have never gone back to the moon. In genuine NASA interviews over the decades they have actually said
1. They have lost all the data from the moon landings despite having a huge storage area for such things
2. They don't have the technology anymore to go back to the moon
3. Other data was deleted to save storage space (can't remember what, and multi billion dollar company NASA trying yo save money?)
Excuse my self proclaimed ignorance here but ...what is the point of NASA if they aren't going to be the ones exploring space?NASA is a government operation. Hence the main reason they haven't gone back to the moon -- back in the 1960s it was a goal to beat the Russians in the Cold War, today the U.S. government doesn't have the stomach to spend billions on going back. So if man is to expand his exploration in space, it will almost certainly be up to the private sector. Yesterday showed it can be done.

That, and the fact there isnt really any point is there?
Launching the car isn't the achievement, it is the rocket that did it.Sorry to sound pessimistic but why is launching a car into space such an achievement?
There is limited potential with the moon, for the money required to be invested, and as NASA are on a relative shoestring of a budget, they are focusing on things other than the moon.Excuse my self proclaimed ignorance here but ...what is the point of NASA if they aren't going to be the ones exploring space?
Perspective.....Did I see that right?
The booster like parked itself next to the take off support thing?
Perspective.....
The landed on specially designed landing pads, with nothing in close proximity in case the landing doesn't go right and things go boom. They certainly do not land on the launch pad (although it is 'nearby')
Mate..... Massively impressive stuff!!Still pretty impressive mind. The video looked like it reversed parked in the car park!
