I think Pavlaychenko should come on for Spurs. He tends to finish anything when they arent scoring.

Citeh look a mess really. Silva and SWP swaping, Tevez dropping deep. Barry on the left and right....really all over the shop.

Joe Hart probably prevented the 1st half time sacking. Hart and Tevez seem like the only 2 city players on the pitch who seem to care.

I think Pavlov is Spurs best striker. Defoe's finishing has never really impressed me. He seems to score a bunch 1-2 matches/season to inflate his totals. He's a poor mans Beckford.

Exciting game, Spurs' look better so far. I'm surprised they've went with Modric and Huddlestone as a partnership but it's worked well so far, they did use it towards the end of the season aswell, Palacios may find his oppurtunities numbered.

I agree with KenadaBloo, three defensive midfielders? Especially when Tevez isn't an out and out striker and likes to drift, it doesn't look right to me. Despite the money they've spent, they don't worry me, they'll definitely be up there, but there team doesn't make me think "jesus, we've got no chance here".

Roobie Mustoe's halftime analysis: City are terrible, their CM's aren't good enought (expect a 80M swoop for Fellani and Arteta Monday). GET LESCOTT ON!! HAHAHAHA

At least Capello came dressed for a post-match job interview. Really I know its only one 1/2 but this team has the looks of some of the NUFC teams from a few years back that I remember so fondly.

This made me smile. Hope so - it would be the best thing for football.
