It's always nice to look back and realise Damo was always a clueless bellend, this during his days of tagging Dave in 90% of his posts for a pat on the head.

I think I used to find his obsession with Dave mildly charming and funny but really, when you think about it for a few seconds, it was v disturbing

Ah here mate, you were unlucky to be singled out there in my search so soz about that. You were far from the only one making champagne predictions about Kane's future.

Tbh mate, you will always get extreme opinions like that about other teams....im sure your Spurs forums is full of stuff like that about other players form other clubs.

But it is a funny thread.

I know a Spurs fan, season ticket holder who had the same view on Kane as I did....for years.

@davek, to be fair to him, was very tolerant and even threw him a few little crumbs of encouragement every now and again. But I imagine that privately it was more of a Misery type of arrangement, with a broken-legged Davek waiting for the mods to save him
