Spurs

I very rarely watch Liverpool but their fitness levels were off the scales last night (as well as their football.)
Because of the amount of games being played in this condensed season, (Spurs have already played 50% more than some other teams,) all the teams in Europe (surely also Liverpool eventually?) are going to struggle with tiredness and concede late goals and this is the best chance ever for a non top 7 team to step up.
Can Everton be that team?
Thought you had me on ignore mate?

I've always considered spurs to be my second team, so it's very vexing to watch their erratic performances just like Everton. But the fact that spurs have a more comprehensive squad makes even more frustrating. They also have a tendency to dominate or grasp control of the game just to fade away, usually in the second half. I truly loathe Liverpool but their fitness levels are staggering they must train at the soviet gym from rocky four. But until spurs work out their consistency issues they're going to troubled by high energy teams.
I like spurs myself but there’s a lad on here slowly turning me off them.

Mr call everyone childish has laughed at a few of my posts throughout the forum in retaliation to me laughing at a post of his in here this morning.

I tell ye if he was a red he would be red bannered a long time ago.

I have developed an irrational dislike of them, bearing in mind they never win anything apart from the League Cup a while back.

They were much easier to like when they resembled a traveling circus.

I expected them to bottle it last night, but I have to admit I'm envious of their Champions League runs in particular and the new stadium.

Ultimately they are chokers though.

This thread is always hijacked by people like you who like to throw abuse, I never reply the same way back but sometimes I can't help but laugh at you.
Your post above is like a little schoolboy crying to his teacher that someone in class laughed at him and in the middle of your jumping up and down and on the spot temper tantrum you ask for him to expelled from school LOL.

Please keep the thread on topic of talking about football.

No you seen I laughed at you and went on a laughing tour in here and the Everton forum. You are quite the quilt. You call everyone a child but what’s that Shakespeare line about protesting?

Like a closeted homosexual catholic priest screaming an anti-gay sermon you are lad.

I don't mind Spurs, the problem last night was how negative they were in the game, or to put it another way, Mourinho's tactics.

Spurs did play to their strengths of hitting Liverpool on the break and in the 2nd half we had 3 very good chances to win the game.
A few weeks ago, many people were saying
"Let's see where Spurs are at the end of their hard run of games of"

Man City home, W
Chelsea away, D
Arsenal home, W,
Liverpool away L
and Leicester home and at the moment we are still up there.

So far we have done ok, yes we have played a hit on the break tactics against these teams but when we play teams who are not battling us for a European place, Spurs will play a much more attacking game.

For many teams an intriguing battle ahead this season.

You forgot Palace. You did very well to get a draw there as well.

I think I remember Mourinho saying that to win the league against the top teams it's about setting up to not get beat and then winning the games you should win, or something along those lines.
