Looking bad when you're trending ahead of Trump.

How have spurs drawn against Fulham. I need H.H. in here to make sense of all this. I need his insight.

Fulham played well, Spurs went 1-0 through an excellent goal and whether consciously or subconscious; spurs retreated into trying to catch them on the break, settling for the 1-0.

Interestingly after it went 1-1 & spurs started chasing, it was end to end, with both teams having great chances & Spurs losing their shape completely.

I've been quite impressed with Fulham. The lad Anguissa in midfield looks really good. Our win against them, which I said at the time looks increasingly good now. He's done a good job there Parker, integrating a number of players into the team.

The stat you mentioned (I think it as you) was key last night was critical for Spurs. 12 dropped poitns from winning positions. Very Un Jose like. Even if that had been halved (which would still be poor) they would be top. Mourinho's MO is holding leads and maximising points and they've just not done that yet.

I still think there are in the title race though.

Yes - that was me; i believe they have turned 5 leads into draws and playing for a draw into defeat twice in the later part of games.

For me they are not going to be near the title race, without a big change in style and mentality. They are relying on a model of Son and Kane scoring way more than Xg and then holding on for dear life. Kane and Son are incredible footballers, but they will ultimately regress somewhat closer to the mean at some stage & that is assuming they remain fit for the year, which also seems unlikely. Seperately, I can see JM getting attracted by the Europa league sooner rather than later, where there tactical set-up is really really well placed over two legs.

Hard to disagree with much of that. However they must be looking at it and thinking- having given up a lot of Leeds, they are still "in touch". I think the Liverpool game is a big one for them. If they can win that, and I tihnk they've got United shortly after, they are bang in it. If not, then yes he may move towards the cups (unfortuately for us with the FA Cup).

From a league competitor perspective though, if they swing towards the EL, that suits me down to the ground.

P.s that was a great find on the points dropped.
