You shouldn't mention Fowler to a City fan! :) He was another one who just wanted to pick up the pay packet each week.
He actually looked liked the Michelin Man when he was at City. He missed a penalty in the last game of the season against
Middlesborough and if he had scored it we would have qualified for Europe. Which for City then would have been a truly enormous
achievement. From all reports it was Fowler who talked Keegan into signing his waster of a mate McManaman.
Fowler also had a feud with Anelka who was with us at the time. Anelka or a washed up Fowler? Keegan went for Fowler
and Anelka was on his way...
Suffice to say Fowler was not the best signing we ever made or the most popular...

Can’t stand the guy myself, for different reasons obviously, but that was an enjoyable read nonetheless.

Can’t believe some wanted us to sign dele Ali, absolute non entity. Thought winks was pony aswell and Doherty looks a shadow of the player for wolves.

Be amazed if Jose lasts into the summer
Was thinking this watching Dele Alli last night

Looked borderline world class a few years ago, was boss wasn't he but he's just propa went off the boil

Propa hate his little peado tash as well.

I don’t think he’s finished, he just looks like he can’t be arsed.

He still looks to be in good shape physically, but doesn’t seem to want to apply himself anymore.

Getting him on loan, was a wise move.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he packed in at the end of this season.

I think it's more horses for courses with him. He was expecting universal love and to be played regardless, perhaps a bit like Rodriguez here? In hindsight matching up with Jose was the mistake, had a Redknapp type been in charge I would expect a totally different output from Bale.

Mourinho on Gareth Bale's Instagram post

I have to admit that his post created a need of being addressed. There was a contradiction between the post and the reality. Since the beginning of the season, in relation to everything, I've tried to be very private and keep everything indoors but I felt that I needed to address the situation. Probably the post was not even his responsibility, but it was showing that training session was great and I'm ready which was totally wrong. So when questioned I had to give the reality of things.

I repeat for the last time. He was not feeling good. He asked for a scan. He had a scan. The scan did not show an injury but his feelings were still there but as coaches, medical people we can never go against the player feelings. So he was not ready for the game. It's as simple as that. If he's ready for tomorrow he's selected for tomorrow.

Mourinho on Harry Kane's fitness and if he can start tomorrow

Yes I believe so. He played 60 minutes and no negative feelings. Maybe just a little stiffness.
