I think if Spurs take the money for Kane and then hire a good manager and invest the Kane money properly, they will be a top team. Can see them challenging for the title but they have to play their cards right.

of selling one player and the country’s top goal scorer they will be better for it?

Oh my lord

Don't be silly.

If they are able to sell Kane for a significant amount of money, they can easily invest that money on other areas of their team, which hasn't got the quality to compete. Look at Liverpool for example; they sold Coutinho and used his sale to fund their defence, which was pretty much the reason why they won the league.

Got to say funny you put arsenal in the conference league. Got to say tho why the heck they jibbed of the Cup winners cup is beyond me

Potentially.

I find however, Liverpool’s recruitment has been somewhat successful over recent years. Alisson, Van Dijk, Jota, the Coutinho money effectively brought them Van Dijk/Alisson, by large they don’t do too bad (exclude Keita).

Spurs have been horrendous in the transfer window now for a long time. Just don’t feel confident in anything they do. Is selling Kane for £150m going to be enough to fix their holes? Personally they’re in a lose-lose scenario.

Sell Kane and try to replace a world class finisher, or Keep Kane and have even more holes.

I think their debts and the way Levy generally runs the business means that they would not be reinvesting much in the squad. Maybe enough to keep them where they are or possibly a bit closer to challenging for 4th but any higher than that is a very long shot, not saying it won't happen but it is not silly to think that selling Kane will put them in a worse on field situation.

@Yid4life which players in your squad would you want to keep long term?

Im assuming, Kane, Son, Hojbjerg, Reguilon, Ndombele? Any others?

Also, what do you make of Dele Alli falling off a cliff -- is he just lazy in training and more into the lifestyle than improving?

When Spurs sold Bale in 2013, they went on a splurge and signed seven players for £110 million. Those players were Eriksen, Chadli, Lamela, Soldado, Paulinho, Capoue, Chiriches. Only Eriksen can be considered a success from that lot. The rest flopped to various extents. If they sell Kane for £150m I’m not convinced the money would be spent wisely enough for them to even be top four contenders.

Lloris, Kane, Son, Hojbjerg, Bale, Rodon. Possibly Ndombele if he can ever reach Premier League fitness levels. Regulion if he learns how to defend as well as he attacks. Lo Celso if he wasn't made of glass.

Winks, Dier, Davis, Sanchez, Doherty can go.

Ali? Who knows. Definitely has the ability but really don't know what has happened to him. Too much to young?
