Very suprised at this which makes me think Levy is up to something. He supposedly had a gentlemans agreement and if thats not being honoured then its understandable. If its nothing to do with that though, its not great from Kane

In saying that though, I dont know why clubs and players have gentlemans agreements - just put a clause into the contract. Kane signed a 6 year deal a couple of years ago so he's only put himself in this situation, similar to Zaha.

I just don't think he's learnt how to use a calendar yet and his mum is on holiday so couldn't remind him.

I assume he was told he'd be sold for any bid in excess of £100m, then Levy rejected the City bid.

A guess of course but if he's just outright refused to come in then something fairly severe has happened.

He misinterpreted his own contract, so similar but different in that Kane is claiming a gentleman's agreement.

Which, if he's relying on that with someone like Levy, makes him incredibly stupid.
