If Spurs finish say 8th this season but win Europa Conference and we finish 7th would we lose out on europe?

Its a strange one as if both domestic cups are won by a team already qualified for europe 5th + 6th gets Europa League and 7th gets Europa Conference.

Winning the Europa Conference gets you into the Europa League so I assume 7th would lose its Europa Conference spot for that season and Spurs would sneak into europe with 5th/6th + Spurs all Europa League.

I can't see how they dont win it this season very few decent sides in that competition.

@Yid4life you heard anything about the rules?
If we qualified for Europe, the victims would do something to get us dropped.

3 goals in 4 games.

Nuno sides are always boring to watch, they sat back Nuno style and countered in those first 3 wins, but when you come up against a team that plays the same way as Palace did then you will not score much or win a lot of games.

No way are they finishing top 4, counter attacking teams are reliant on teams attacking them leaving space, you have about 12 teams in the PL who are quite comfortable sitting back, this is why Spurs will not be in the top 4, they will get around 60-68 points.

Just caught up on some radio from Monday and they covered spurs stats so far this season. I found it interesting, the ranking is obviously where in the table they are , quite surprising given they had a 100% record until palace .

Shots 38 17th
Big chances created 1 20th
Goals 3 16th
Shots creating actions 19th
Shots against 70 1st

Those stats would indicate that a catastrophic wobble should be expected. That's very poor indeed. Much poorer than should be expected from that team.

Typical Stats from a team who sit back, it's expected, it's not a proactive set up, the system relies on the other team attacking you which is your trigger to attack, sadly for Spurs they are far to many teams who are happy to sit back in the PL.

Going to be a tough frustrating watching Spurs, their fans are brought up on attacking flair, Nuno is the opposite of that, their best bet is going for the three cups, the counter attacking style is perfect for cup competition especially away from home.

What the hell is a shot creating an action?

I mean I don’t really know I just quoted the presenter , google tells me

- Goal Creating Actions (GCA) and Shot Creating Actions (SCA), meaning the two offensive leading to a shot or goal. This includes live-ball passes, dead-ball passes, successful dribbles, shots which lead to another shot, and being fouled.

Yep, still means nothing lol

Or do they mean a pass or a cross then? Basically a goal scoring opportunity.

Who gets paid to make this crap up and can I have their job.
