I can't laugh at them tbh, id kill for Everton to be firing managers for only having us 5th in the league.

It's not like they have ever spent massively either so can't mock them for not winning trophies etc when they get consistently outspent by the clubs who do win trophies.

Spurs are just Everton in tinsel. All attention-grabbing and shiny. Everytime it's put up to them, they fail.

They got top 4 numerous times, that's not a failure. The fact they broke up the traditional big 4 is impressive, it's something that we never managed beyond one freak season.

People's expectations for them are over the top, they have never been a club that regularly competes for and wins trophies. The clubs that do that are few and far between and nearly always spend a ton of cash to do so (Arsenal being a possible exception).

Im not sure why so many people expect them to win trophies ?
