Curbishley's reaction last to the interviewers fairly innocuous "What do you think of Dyer's continuing injury problems?"

"You can't really call this an injury problem for God's sake. I mean, a broken leg!"

Ermm.... Yeah, you can actually.

The guy's a nob. What was it Kanchesky said about him recently?

"Nobody likes him, he has no sense of humour or banter and can't motivate anyone."

Something like that. As sorry as I feel for Dyer, I hope the injury problems continue to pile up for them. And they finish below Derby. Gits.

We've got a great first 11 and sub bench.. otherwise we are a bit light.

Goalies: Good lineup, 4 of them

2 experienced and 2 youngsters..

Defenders: fairly good lineup, 8 of them

Boyle is unproven, Hibbert and Valente have shown that they are prone to mistakes a bit too often. Leaves 5 very good defenders

Midfielders: Good lineup, 9 of them

Vidarsson is not ready yet, DaSilva looks one lvl too low at the moment, VdM is a big questionmark & Pienaar looks lightweight. Leaves 5-6 good midfielders

Forwards: Great lineup, 6 of them

Lukas is for the future. Anichebe is a bit young yet for games each week, so is Vaughan but he is closer, but both can come in and do great games. McFadden is inconsistant, but also able to score goals. And AJ & Yak is proven and experienced scorers.


Would like for us to improve our midfield with 2 more players and perhaps another CD.. but our current squad is the best in 20 years..

Yeah seen that.

If Appiah is one of them then Im very confident we'll have a good season.

And we really should appreicate the board a bit more for splashing the cash, were a bit too eager to slate them. Credit where its due.

Ok, one more has been signed on.. Gravesen is back for a 1-year deal.. That gives us another good midfielder.. feels good, even though he's old and on the way down in his career.
