massive oak tree at the front of my house houses 3 grey squirrels, they seem to take a lot of delight in winding my dogs up

I got a 'squirrel proof' feeder but several times they have got inside and I've had to release them lol

For the second time in the last 4 days, I had to release this stoopid young squirrel from inside my 'squirrel proof' bird feeder this morning.

So i think we have both reds and greys but like I said Boris is red. That doesnt make him kopite, though.

One of the ways that grey squirrels are being dealt with in Wicklow has been the reintroduction of the pine marten. Seemingly red squirrels know to RLF when they are around whereas grey squirrels just ignore them. Not a great strategy by the grey squirrel.

If you see any greys Finners, you need to dispatch them as quick as you can.

They carry a very nasty disease , that doesn’t affect them, but wipes out the reds.
