Well, it was good. Can't be arsed going through this thread now, but I'm sure my comments will be similar. It was a JJ Abrams movie, which isn't bad. Probably, it was the kick in the teeth this saga needed to wake up. Looking forward to Episode VIII and how the saga will develop the story of these characters.

Even if VIII is a remake of V, I think I'll be happy. I assumed going in that Rey was Han and Leia's daughter, and then later that they were siblings, but now it seems almost certain that she's Luke's daughter. Can't see her turning to the dark side, but mainly because I assume the story develops as her struggle against her cousin Ben. I assume Ben's light side struggle continues to be a story, but looks like he buried that in VII.

i was disappointed.
Lacked a decent plot , lacked an edge and the villains were a bit wet.
Doesnt deserve a year gap between movies. A bit lazy all round. and more harry potter than old star wars.

Harry Potter were all based on books though. The stories were already there.
