Read a while ago the fella thats done the poster art for all the films has seen around half of the new one and said what hes seen its the best out of all the movies

Yeah the fella who emptied the bins said that too! I'm dreading this.

…It started about a year ago or more, a year and a half ago. I got a call from J.J. Abrams who I have never met, and he was in England shooting the film and he goes ‘Hi, I’ve always loved the work’ and Blah, Blah, Blah, sounding like you, you know, like a fanboy (laughs) And we were talking along and he just goes ‘…Well, would you?’ and I said ‘…If I was asked.’ And that was the conversation (laughs). By the end of it, there were no other words. So about a year later, we get together and meet and he says we’re using all the original people – John Williams, Kasdan, Harrison Ford’s in it, everybody’s in it and everybody’s writing and making the music and we have to have your art to make it the real thing. So, of course, I’ve got to do it for George and I’ve got to do it for Star Wars. I’ve never worked with J.J before and so we started working on it and he showed me like half the movie and it was just… a wonderful film and I know it’s going to be grand. I got to read the script and subsequently I’ve seen half of it and I can tell you and the fans this, Honest to god, it is far and away probably going to be THE BEST Star Wars you’ve ever seen. … Well it’s beautifully made and it’s a wonderful story.

No really ! I cant get that comedy rolling robot out my head and JJ weirdo is gunner blow this big style! He just about pulled Star Trek off but I'm afraid he's bitten off more than the little flare merchant can chew! Just you wait!

Wrong, he specifically stepped away from cgi like lucas used for the sequels to have the feel of the old films.

Worried that the return of Chewbacca and a 73 year old Harrison Ford sporting a haircut like Stephen Gately are setting a terrible tone for this film

Be prepared for:

- No sense of peril (Disney won't allow it)
- No death of any main characters (Disney won't allow it)
- Easter Eggs (It's the "in" thing)
- An insane plot designed to sell toys rather than tell a coherent story
- The attempt at a "cliffhanger" ending
- The attempt at a "twist"
- More Intergalactic Incest

The new Star Trek films are terrible. I don't know how anybody actually thinks of them as good TREK films. They just end up being mindless chase-the-baddie sci-fi fare dressed up in Trek clothing. I was massively disappointed (but not in the least surprised).

Give me Ricardo Montalban's broodying moobs or a pair of humpback whales any day.

I enjoyed the first one, the second one is poor, it moves so fast you don't even realise how poorly written it is until you actually sit down and think about, I also find benedict cucumber batch hideously overrated as an actor, it's the same thing every time

His over acting and face pulling at times is ridiculous ! Oh and the other week when he was having it out with the queue out side the venue, I would have belted him over his head with me phone and threw him in the bins.
