Starting Line Up Predictions - Oldham

It's time to stop relying on the 'stars' who aren't performing.

I'd honestly give the kids a go at home.

Coleman Jags Duffy Baines
Mirallas Fellaini Barkley Ovideo
Anichebe Vellios.

That side should be good enough to win this football match. Pienaar, Gibson, Osman and Jelavic all badly need a rest. So does Baines, but we can't afford to not play him.

Jelavic has hardly played this year.

after the loss to norwich reading is a mustr win playing 3 games will take its toll if we use the same 11.
I expect neville and mirallas to be in possibly hetinga if distin is too nackered.

I'd say starting Duffy isn't a bad shout, if Oldham start with Matt smith then we'll need someone big to deal with him, otherwise they are going to be lumping crosses into the box all night.

Everton need to try and close down the crosses. Joe Royle said he, Kendall and Harvey all agreed that Van Den Hauwe was the best left back Everton have ever had. WTF what about Baines!? Everyone cried, but Royle went on to say that Psycho Pat always tried to stop the cross coming in and Everton have a bad habit of our full backs allowing the player to pick out a cross and then trying to deal with the ball in the box. That was last January, but never have those words been so true as to this season, when it’s become apparent that dealing with the ball in the box is not our strong point.

i can guarentee you with we had nevilles leadership on the pitch yesterday we wudnt have dropped 3 points as iv always said were a better team when hes in the team

We probably would have because we would never have been in the lead in the first place with him lagging back or he would have kicked someone because he couldn't keep up with them giving away a silly free kick. He's an awful player who can only get worse.

wouldn't mind seeing oviedo in for pienaar as he's been average/poor for most of the season, defo want to see the coleman/mirallas combination as well and get shane in at the back with jags

--------------Howard-------------

---------------Jags-------------------
-------Duffy-----------Distin---------

Coleman-----Gibson--Felli------Baines--

------Mirallas-------------Pienaar-----

----------------Jelavic----------------

When they get a chance they a going to bomb that cart horse from long balls; put a sweeper in to pick up any knock-downs/flick-ons; play the back 3 high up the pitch allowing the other 7 to play freely with the ball. Any long ball counters should be cut out by the sweeper

we shouldnt be worrying about them. We should be imposing ourselves on the game from the off as Swansea did yesterday, get the game won in the first 20 minutes FFS!

this should be moyes team vs oldham

HOWARD - goalie

COLEMAN JAGIELKA DISTIN BAINES - traditional back-four

GIBSON FELLAINI - holding midfield protecting back four

MIRALLAS OSMAN PIENAAR interchanging across attacking midfield

JELAVIC - striker

SUBS; MUCHA DUFFY HEITINGA NAISMITH ANICHEBE NEVILLE OVIEDO

I like this!

Is Moyes that predictable he'll go with this again:

Howard

Coleman Jags Distin Baines

Mirallas Gibson Osman Pienaar

Fellaini

Jelavic

Thoughts on the starting 11....

...think this will probably be right. Neville's influence might be considered, but Coleman's attacking ability will probably see him given the nod this time. I also think he has to go with Mirallas.

Virtually the same as Saturday with Naismith and Mirallas swapping.
Nervous about this one. the defence look so shaky at present.
