Just to add regarding buses, you can get the number 19, 19A, 20 or 21 services from Queens Square (centre of town) and they all take you to right near the ground. The 19A actually drops you off right infront of the Park End stand.

15 minutes on the bus from Queens Square.

Hi guys! I'm heading to Liverpool from Norway to watch the match against Reading. Taking my youngest daugter with me. Planning to get a hotel 15 min walk from Goodison, 344 Scotland road. Is this a safe area ? Just asking, never been there before

Get one in the city centre mate and then the bus to Goodison or a taxi for £6/7.

Had a great time. Not the best area, but liked the hotel.Besides Reading lost 1-3. Liverpool
center was very nice
