Squad desperately needs a left back and a midfielder who can take the ball off the centre backs and move it up field (either by running with the ball, passing forwards, or ideally both).

We end up with a right winger and a striker.

I totally agree. I am happy with cenk and Walcott but im not sure we will see the best of them until coleman and hopefully an attack minded left back are in the team. We need attacking fullbacks far more than attack minded front men. We are lacking that one link from defence to attack...im not sure how either player can help that. Hope im wrong

The root of the problem. Failed to address glaring problems in the squad, bullied by Koeman into signing overpriced, non essential players and architect of Allardyce's appointment. Appalling mismanagement.
