Compare and contrast to Lampard who practically couldn’t give one about Chelsea when we did them. Gerrard was too busy trying to shush the Old Trafford and Goodison crowds though because in his world it’s all about him.

Maybe if he’d started Ings and Coutinho against Burnley they would have two extra points now but he wanted them both to be the story line agaisnt City along with him and it fell flat on its face.

He’ll be in trouble next season because the owners there won’t accept another bottom half finish and I’ve seen nothing from him to suggest he can get a tune out of those players.
