Nice to see this one came off. Did a good job for us and he was fantastic from Feb 14 - Feb 15.
Will do well at Norwich, wish him all the best.
Tbh, I'm hoping we maintain the rest of the squad, bar McGeady. Though I feel Kev may go?
As long as we have a replacement lined up it's a good move for all parties. He wants first-team football, Norwich need decent attacking options and we want players who do more than just try hard.
He will leave with a lot of respect from me. During that first season I couldn't stand the bloke, thought he was absolute gash and I'm ashamed to admit I was one of the supporters who jeered whenever he came on the pitch. The fact that he was able to turn it around and go from a pariah to a minor cult hero is remarkable. During his time here he has never stopped giving it his all or made any appalling mistakes that have cost us games. Whenever he's been dropped or criticised by supporters he has never sat around and sulked like some others we could mention have, instead he's buckled down and worked harder to try and get back into the side and that's the attitude all footballers should have. He's not a great player by any stretch of the imagination but he has given us several great moments such as the perfect hat-trick against Chelsea, the equaliser against the RS in 2012, his MOTM performance against Arsenal in 2013 and I personally really liked his belter against Lille as well.
Good luck in the future Naisy, just don't go scoring against us!

I'm happy to see him go. He seems to be a good lad and has the right attitude. Just didn't have enough to get him a regular first team spot. I hope he goes there and keeps them up. Now a couple of mill for McGeady and we might get a keeper in.
I think McGeady will go. Maybe even on a loan or free.
Majorly fallen out with club.He renegaded on a transfer previously agreed to.
Shame it never worked out for him but he just doesn't have the aptitude to turn his obvious talent into something remotely useful, unfortunately. Get rid as it is a waste of wages.
Kev still has a lot to offer in the second half of the season for me. We need a replacement for Naismith (if this goes through) - whether that be a back up forward/winger or put the money towards a 'keeper.
If Kev goes, we definitely need a first-team quality player in.
I would expect it to be Yarmolenko if Kev goes.

I read a fair few people say this on here about McGeady and have no idea what they're talking about. WHEN has he ever shown us anything to suggest he has loads of talent? What game has ever been MOTM in or came off the bench and done brilliantly? Please enlighten me.
