Believe it, lid. One lad wears his stewards pass on a bit of ribbon with the City logo plastered all over it. Another lad wears his Liverpool shirt under his jacket. Since when did supporting your team involve hating the rest ?. Its not like i'm stood cheering the goals with a 'King Eric scarf' around me singing 'Glory Glory', sometimes you're not even working with United fans, you might be with the away support. Its a good laugh once or twice a week, getting paid to watch Football.

I watch Football every day anyway, might as well get paid for it

No sorry cant get me head around it lad, diffrent strokes and all that

Its just my view like but i dont no 1 RS supporter or Blue who would work for the mancs

What if i said to you that working for United paid for my Everton season ticket, home, away and third kits, and quite a few away trips last year, and will probably do the same again this year ?.

I know for a fact that quite a few of the stewards at Goodison are reds.

i`d say that you earn 20x what my mate does as a steward at goodison.............hmmmmm - i havent seen him for ages, maybe hes cruising on that yacht he bought with all the easy dough he makes waddling about in a yellow jacket at the match

Its not far off double the money at United though. Goodison is £28 a game i believe, or it was when i worked there in 08, its £26 at Wigan, and £47 at United. With the Prem, Carling Cup, FA Cup, Champions League and the odd youth game. As well as working at Wigan, sometimes doing the Rugby League, its about £2000 extra a year i get from watching a couple of games of Football a week.

It's amazing the backlash you're getting from people who probably pay Murdoch a tidy amount each year to tune into Utd, Chelsea, Arse and rs games on the telly. Sounds like a good deal to me mate. I'd jump at it.

Haha well its only a secondary job, bit of extra pocket money. Its not everybody's cup of tea, but i enjoy it. I just wanted to clarify that a fan working for another club isn't out of the ordinary. And getting paid to watch Everton, even if its only twice a season, is still pretty decent in my book !

That point should be enough for the doubters. As I said, I'd do it at the drop of a hat

must be a bit of a juggling act when an Everton home game clashes with man u or wigan playing at home
