We've been 8 points and 16 goals better than the team you said didn't differ too much to us. We're part of the top 7 they're part of the bottom 13. If you think that this was a quick fix for Koeman and he should have instantly had us playing great then I can understand why you're disappointed, that's because you had unreasonable expectations.

I said all along that it wasn't going to be a quick fix after Martinez, and said Koeman can't be judged till at least after this Jan and Summer window.

We'll stay seventh because the league is crap, you only have to look at the run where we couldn't buy a win, but continued to stay mostly 7th.

I agree. But I think your criticism is a touch harsh. After the Martinez disaster id of taken 9 points off of top 4 with 16 games to go and 4 of the 6 teams above us still having Europe to contend with. It's as much as could've been realistically asked IMHO.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'm well happy with our league position, and if we stay there, or somehow can scrape into the top 6 then Koeman will have achieved above and beyond what I would have actually been content with in his first season.
