December hasn't been easy on us and we have players injured or knackered from playing too many games. This wasn't our first choice CB pairing that was used, out of necessity. Stoke are great at home and have started off with defending with 10 behind the ball, as did Sunderland.

And, again, is it really Roberto's fault that Lukaku hasn't been able to trap a ball for about 5 games now? We just don't have anyone better to put on, and we suffer from it. To cry out that we're gonna fail everything and start dropping points and finish 10th is ridiculous.

And luck has really NOT been on our side as of late. If we were a tiny bit luckier the score at HT would be 0:2. There are some games you don't win, this one might be one of them. I want, as much as any other blue out there, to win every game, but realistically - you really can't, especially with an 'unfinished' squad.


fair enough, lad...but I don't think that's an answer to the criticism.
