That's why getting rid of stub hub was a mistake, it was easy to put your ticket up for sale, just imagine if our fans could put tickets up for let's say a fiver and they didn't get sold, if you had 2000 supporters, selling their ticket for the Arsenal game, it would draw attention.
As ive said, I honestly wish I could "make a proper stand", but I cant be throwing away dough, if I thought it would make a difference, I would gladly.

You don't think the club would get bad press from an empty stadium?
Would never happen, We have a large fan base who take the kids, it’s a day out to support the team, they wouldn’t do it. The older fans have probably seen worse, and will be enjoying the game while they have the health or funds too.
Why only turn up for the good times, and not through the bad times, that’s glory hunting.
Your more likely to get the whole crowd involved in sit ins, or some other sort of protest.

You don't think the club would get bad press from an empty stadium?
how many do you think would stay away?
honestly?
If it was incredibly successful, say 10,000
even then, that's 5 second fly away comment in commentary.
If you're not going to support the team, go and protest the board, during the game.
That'll hurt them a hell of a lot more.
Having the team play in front of empty seats is the same as fans protesting the board when it comes to the team on the field in my book.

Yeah but those 13,000 gates wasn't a boycott, it was mostly caused by everyone being skint in the Thatcher era, and football wasn't as popular as it is now.
Imagine a 13k gates when we have x3 as many season ticket hders, it would be amazing
Short memory HK was struggling his garage daubed HK OUT - plus Get Carter OUT .....We were awful cushions were thrown at the players .......coming off - it was room & gloom then ......yes there was a recession, but the gates were record lows .....
My brother & I stood on the Gwladys street - a guy asked us for a light for his ciggerette he had to walk 25 yards to get one lol

Not in the premier League era. Old football and modern football are completely different. We are circling the plug hole and will not recover if we go down.

I stopped going years ago. Granted I left the UK, but I am occasionally back and would have plenty of time to attend the games, but I won't because:
a. The team is crap
b. It's dead expensive
c. The stadium is also crap
d. I cannot resonate with any of the players
e. Even the odd victory will ultimately not lead to any success

This is the same as stop voting . U know nothing will change but you keep doing it. Its also the definition of madness.
