I don't know much about this fella, but he seems to be doing some great things for kids. He also writes children's books, among other things:

It’s an interesting story and the way I read it, there were a few unexplained bits.
Certainly the woman was exploited by a sh*tbag exploiting the system which is rigged to help him but (playing devils advocate here) it was individuals in the neighbourhood using their free will and cash who helped the woman, not any ideology. In fact, the organisations set up to help her and people like her, failed her.
The main thing is, she keeps her home and people did good.

Cant disagree... also can't remember much of the story !! Waa it in the US? Not a place renowned for its social conscientiousness.
