Yeah he's a cm always has been imo and 8 is his best position and play's there most of the time.
The op called him a defensive midfielder and was arsenals best player in the second half of the season. My point was that he wasn't a dm and wasn't arsenals best player. He had only played as a dm twice all last season and had played at the opposite end of the spectrum in more games.

The point was he is so not a dm that he was used 5x as much as a attacking midfielder then as a dm. As was said before he is a number 8 that is where he has played most and where he is best.
Who scored is actually quite well regarded. It's no supries that you wouldn't know that as you seem to have zero intrest in facts. As is proof by the fact you linked someone's opinion as a fact.

But that link you sent a post or two back ever where it had games played in cam cm and dm.. think cam was like 12 and dm was 8... if you click on each one it gives you a break down
Wilshere had 1 start as a cam in the league and they lost. The other 4 where subs ( assuming that stat means they replaced a cam doesn't necessarily mean he played him cam )
But his stat for dm he started 4 league games
